President, Chief Operating Officer

Hy Saporta serves as President and Chief Operating Officer, is a Co-Founder and a member of the executive leadership team at Steward Partners. He has worked in the Financial Services industry for over 25 years. Hy is responsible for Operations, Technology, Risk & Compliance, Legal and the Finance Functions of the Organization.

Prior to founding Steward Partners, Hy held Senior Management roles at Citi, Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firm Smith Barney. While at Morgan Stanley, he was a Managing Director and a member of the Wealth Management firm‘s Management Committee. He was responsible for building out the Client and Field Experience Group, focused on internet strategy and user engagement, the new account opening experience, performance reporting, client communications and client service metrics. His Advisor-facing responsibilities included the build and running of the Field Services Group, a service and support area dedicated to guiding Financial Advisors through the vast array of products, services and technology available at the firm.

Hy is on the National Council of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

Hy is a graduate of Lehigh University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He lives in Westport, CT with his wife Marissa and their two children.
